The piece was constructed through many workshops around Manchester and presented in the People's History Museum.
It was my job to collect and distribute the advertising for this exhibition. I learnt where in Manchester had free advertising space, which were the most appropriate and which would generate the most audience.
The advertising also had to stand out as there was a lot of other people doing the same as I was.

I was also asked to find any other artists who might be able to contribute. I asked Helena Edwards, who I met at the Lymm Festival, and she contributed these hand knitted squares and bracelets in red & white.
They were promoting a charity called KasCare who ask for donated knitted squares and attach them together to create blankets for orphans with aids in South Africa.
