The theme of the garden was 'Enchanted Garden' and we knew there would be a general theme of fairies and flowers, so we really wanted to create something that would stand out.
We went forward with the idea of fungi, and fungal growths.
Inspired by the Junk Jam work experience we had both been a part of, we decided to use recycled materials.
The outcomes were weird and wonderful, some based on photographs, some on furniture design and some completely made up!
We did have our difficulties with the materials just because we weren't used to working with them and we didn't have a lot of time to understand them properly. But we pretty much over came the obstacles we came across in terms of designs, hangings, fixings and creative differences.
I think we worked well as a team to pull together a really successful exhibition in a very short amount of time. We can label this as our first independent exhibition.
