I acted as curator for the first time and I also ran an embroidery workshop with Rachel Britch from my course.

We worked around the theme of leaves, as it was a garden that we would be hanging them in and it also gave us licence to be playful with the stitches we used.

The top picture is the result of the workshop.



The above picture and the picture to the right are samples made by my course mates.

I asked for these samples to show the group how different techniques could be used.

Overall I think the participants were happy but I think the tutorial could have had more of a structure because people tended to revert back to techniques they were already well familiar with.
