This series of images was based on the idea of clothing as our surroundings, rips and tears in worn items of clothing, reveal and highlight the skin underneath, much like body painting does. I took inspiration from some previous samples that used ladders in tights as drawings. I like the painting and think the images are successful however I'd like to follow a different path using the hand interacting with the rest of the body. These images show the hand as an object or sculpture which is something I'd like to move away from.
